We believe that this was Bro Thomas's conclusion. He began to convert the Psalms to metre and wrote favourably about the Scottish Psalter.

Eph 5:18-20

"and be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ"

Col 3:15-17

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing another in Psalms and Hymns and Spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word and deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

We believe the most Scriptural guide is to sing the Psalms whenever possible. We have put the first 41 Psalms to well-known tunes in booklet format for use when we meet to worship Yahweh and remember the Master's Sacrifice as he appointed.

Mark 14:22-26

"And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it. And he said unto them, This is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many. Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the Kingdom of God. And when they had sung a Psalm they went out into the mount of Olives."

We hope that as an ecclesia, or as individuals we will not be condemned by others for seeking to please Our Father in sincerity, in Spirit and in Truth in our worship.
